After careful consideration, we’ve decided that instead of bringing in an already-established artist, we want to find someone fresh — someone with real potential, raw talent, and a hunger to learn from one of the best. This is your chance to be mentored by Dean of DKWtattoos , widely regarded as one of East Lothian’s top tattoo artists. With years of experience, precision, and a solid reputation behind him, Dean is ready to pass on his skills to the right person — someone who’s not afraid of hard work, has a passion for the art form, and is genuinely committed to a future in tattooing. ✍️ What we’re looking for: • A real passion for art and creativity • Solid existing drawing skills — you must already have a foundation • A portfolio of your own artwork and sketches to show your style and range • A willingness to learn, listen, and grow under professional guidance • Someone reliable, respectful, and driven to succeed This is not just a “hobby gig” — this is the start of a professional career in tattooing, inside a fast-growing and forward-thinking studio. ✨ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧: Not only will you receive full hands-on training and support from Dean, but once the course is successfully completed, the chosen applicant will be given their own studio space within our shop to begin working full time as a tattoo artist. This is a real long-term opportunity — not just to learn, but to build a future in the industry. Please note: There will be a cost involved in the course and training, which will be discussed directly with Dean once your application is considered and an interview is arranged. 📩 How to apply: Message us directly or get in touch with Dean at DKW Tattoos with your name, a short introduction, and a portfolio of your work. We’re excited to see the talent that’s out there — and even more excited to help shape the next generation of tattoo artists in East Lothian!
