Fenix Tattoo and Piercing is looking for a tattoo artist to join our team. Established in 2000, we are a close-knit group of artists at a no-frills down-to-earth shop that has deep connections with the local community. We are located in the Pioneer Square neighborhood in downtown Seattle, which attracts a large number of tourists.
Must be experienced working as a professional tattoo artist. Must have up-to-date BPP certification and Washington Tattoo License (if you are coming from out of state- it's a pretty easy process to apply for one). Must be able to do a range of different styles and be willing to take walk-ins. Proficient drawing skills are a must, well as a good attitude towards customers and of course - your coworkers.
Every artist works in a 10ร16' ft partial enclosed studio space (every station is divided by 4 ft walls) that gives you a space to decorate with privacy for your clients while still being able to communicate with your neighbors. There is only room for four artists at the shop, so it's a very comfortable spot that doesn't get too hectic.
Looking for a full-time artist who can work 5 days a week. We are open from 2pm-12am, so it's great for the late night worker. Artists are on commision based pay. Shop provides all necessary cleaning supplies (paper towels, madacide, alcohol, seran wrap, green soap, gloves, etc) as well as some tattoo supplies (ink caps, thermafax paper, thermafax machine, a&d,cups, chair, arm rest)
No drugs or drama queens, please. Please email us at fenixtattooandpiercing@gmail.com with a portfolio or a link to it as well as where youre coming from, how many years of experience you have, references, a phone number to reach you at, and your best dad joke.
