Experienced Tattoo Artist | Premium Studio | Valkyrie Tattoo | Burlington, NC
ResidencyTraditional, Blackwork, Neo-Traditional +13
Great artists don’t leave tattooing. They leave bad shops.
If you’ve chased DMs at midnight, eaten the cost of a no-show, or worked next to people who treat the studio like a hangout, you know exactly what we mean. You’re good at what you do. You’re just tired of carrying a shop that doesn’t carry you back.
Valkyrie was built for you.
We’re a premium studio built on one rule: the artist’s only job should be the art. We designed our own studio system from the ground up. Booking, scheduling, deposits, reminders, and client communication are all handled before you ever pick up a machine. You walk in, your day is set, your clients are confirmed, and the work is all that’s left.
We’re a tribe, and we take care of our own. Here’s what that actually means:
Your time is protected. The studio manages your calendar, confirms every client, and enforces the deposit policy, so a no-show doesn’t come out of your pocket.
Problems get handled like adults. We deal with them directly, privately, and fast. No gossip, no cliques, no politics.
The team has your back. We cover for each other, share what we know, and celebrate each other’s work.
Loyalty runs both ways. As Valkyrie grows, leadership roles go to the people already here building it.
Who we’re looking for
Experienced. You have years behind the machine and a portfolio of healed work. This is not an apprenticeship.
Professional. You’re on time, you communicate clearly, and you give every client a premium experience, because that’s what they’re paying for.
Team-first. You want the artist at the next station to win.
Loyal. You’re not looking for a chair for the next six months. You’re looking for home.
Still hungry. You care about getting better every year.
This isn’t for you if...
You need drama to feel at home.
You think systems kill creativity. Ours exist so you can focus on yours.
You’re looking for somewhere to coast.

In Norse myth, the Valkyries chose who was worthy of the hall. We’re just as careful about who we bring home. If this reads like it was written for you, it probably was.
