WE’RE LOOKING FOR A TATTOO APPRENTICE. Andrew is officially taking on a new apprentice at Avenue Tattoo Studio. #1 — PORTFOLIO. This is the most important thing. We’re looking for someone with real artistic ability who wants to learn tattooing from the ground up. We are NOT looking for your cousin who learned to tattoo in jail when he got his ninth DUI last week and just needs a shop or a license. #2 — RELIABILITY. You need reliable transportation and you need to be available Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM until we’re done. Usually that’s around 8 PM. Sometimes it’s midnight or later. #3 — THIS DOES NOT PAY. You’ll be learning black & gray realism, color realism and a little bit of everything that goes into becoming a professional tattoo artist. You’ll also clean, help around the shop, film content and do a LOT of basic editing and social media. You need to be able to learn something once, remember it, solve problems and figure things out without having your hand held.
