About This Job
We have openings for 2-3 tattoo apprentices Ideally at least 1 would be full time (5 days, including at least 50% of Saturdays), but we would consider 1-2 part time apprentices too (each doing at least 3 days, including at least 50% of Saturdays) Please email your art portfolio to [email protected] No previous experience in tattooing is necessary but art skill is Ideally would be able to drive as closest bus stop is Tesco & I’m not sure what the bus routes there are like (if it wouldn’t be a problem to get to the studio then we would consider a non-driver) Tell us a bit about you, your interests & hobbies etc 😊 a photo of you is also helpful to put a face to the email (or send us your social media handle so we can connect) Ideal skills: - Good work ethic, driven & ambitious - A team player who is willing to get involved & help out wherever necessary/needed - Cab juggle multiple responsibilities - Good timekeeping - Able to take constructive criticism & feedback - Customer service skills - Resilient when faced with challenges - Reliable - Coachable - Good communicator Tattooing is a cool job, but it isn’t an easy job. There is a lot of pressure when you’re marking people’s bodies for life & we want people that take that seriously. There is a lot to juggle between on skin tattoo time & off skin work time (bookings, drawings, business admin). It’s important that you’ll be able to handle a lot of responsibility & juggle multiple plates (we can also help you learn these skills) The apprenticeships will be structured as I have created a course to follow through modules, this will make it clear what is being worked on, what is needed to move on to the next module & also when your apprenticeship will be considered finished These apprenticeships will be top notch - structured, thorough, comprehensive (covering things lots of other apprenticeships don’t!) & you’ll be fully supported throughout We look forward to speaking with you soon! (We’re away in Cornwall for a week from Thursday so plan to spend some time then going through the applications)

We’re an established studio with a strong local presence, a solid reputation, and an active client base. We regularly run events, flash specials, promotions, and social media campaigns designed to keep people walking through the door and to help our artists get their work in front of new clients. We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a place to tattoo.
