HEX is searching for its first official licensed piercer! We’re tired of the same old, same old with traditional shops.. so we’re changing it! HEX is a woman owned maximalist tattoo shop + salon where our culture is put above everything else. We recognize that we aren’t for everyone- and we don’t want to be. Since opening our new location in October, we’ve decided to spearhead our own piercing studio inside the shop, where quality service and diverse jewelry inventory will be at the top of the priority list. We aim to reach APP status in the new year as well. We’re ready to take on a commission based employee, and we don’t mind discussing pay rates and benefit options that could be available to you as well. Responsibilities: Perform high-quality piercing services with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, ensuring client satisfaction. Maintain rigorous sanitation standards by properly sterilizing equipment and adhering to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Manage daily store operations, including scheduling appointments, inventory management, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision, provide expert advice on design choices, color theory, and aftercare. Promote store products and services through engaging sales techniques while fostering strong customer relationships. Keep detailed records of all procedures, client information, and compliance documentation in accordance with licensing requirements. Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and excellent communication skills to create a positive work environment. Experience: Must hold active piercing license in the state of Tennessee. Proven experience in piercing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques. Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety procedures related to piercing environments. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to handle sales confidently while providing outstanding customer service. Basic first aid knowledge is preferred to ensure safety during procedures. Must be willing to uphold the standard of the APP, and be willing to accept extended membership opportunities.
