Berenzaín Amaya studied Fine Arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving, "La Esmeralda," from 1999 to 2004, focusing on sculpture. He worked in special effects and VFX for film, magazines, and television. He also developed his skills in personal projects under the Bere & Bere label. In addition, he has worked as a freelance digital illustrator since 2002 for various design and art publishing houses. He has created artwork and designs for musical groups, and his art toys have been featured in international exhibitions. He has participated in conferences and workshops at various universities and has been part of numerous national and international group exhibitions (Paris, Japan, Amsterdam, Singapore, USA, Spain, China, etc.). His work has been published in books and magazines such as Outpfstebooks, a! Diseño, and Marvin, among others. He was a member of the editorial board of Tatuarte en la piel magazine for approximately eight years. He participated in the specialized diploma program "Living Canvas Tattooing" at the Old Academy of San Carlos, and has 15 years of experience in the tattoo industry, including participation in various national and international conventions such as those in France and the Netherlands. His last solo exhibition, "Lovesong NFT," took place in 2023 at the Old Academy of San Carlos, showcasing a blend of NFT technology and his analog work. He co-founded Octattoo Studio in 2010 and has collaborated in reconstructive aesthetic tattooing for 13 years, working with individuals with various skin traumas who choose tattoos to camouflage their scars.
