I’m Begüm, the artist behind markedbybeg. I work primarily in black and grey, using soft shading, dotwork, and fluid, organic linework. I studied Fashion Design at IMA, where I developed a strong foundation in composition, form, and visual storytelling. I completed an intensive two-month tattoo course at Cleopatra Ink Academy, in Izmir. For me, tattooing is more than creating something visually pleasing. Every tattoo marks a moment, a feeling, or a chapter in someone’s life. I value connection and trust throughout the tattoo process, taking the time to listen, understand, and create something that feels right for the person wearing it. My aim is to create work that feels personal, calm, and considered.
