About

Having created a logo design for Latino Ceramics, I believe it has put me at an advantage and proven my ability to work under pressure, as I have developed my designing skills within a workplace. As well as communicating regularly with the business to ensure complete satisfaction during the design process, I had to adhere to strict deadlines. In my spare time, I have extended my knowledge on Adobe photoshop by editing images: removing backgrounds, adding logos to my art and changing the hue or colour of images to create multiple unique designs. This shows my ability to manipulate images, which i believe will take place when designing tattoos in the studio. Last summer, I set up an Art stall with various creations from my handmade drawings and paintings. I used my watercolour/acrylic paintings of animals and my pencil drawings of celebrities and printed them onto cards, cushions and bags or just sold them as A4/A3 prints. The planning, prepping and attending the stall has helped me to identify the things that are most popular and sell quicker. Therefore, I could develop ideas around these themes in the future to gain more sales. These skills are important and show my willingness to succeed and flourish within the art industry. Although, I don’t have experience within a tattoo studio I am a very quick learner and thrive from taking on new challenges. I believe having a creative flair does put me at an advantage too. Having great confidence in my own decisions, I do also welcome my errors, this is a very crucial part to learning and development.
