About Yasmine Bergner I am a multidisciplinary Artist, professional Tattooer for over 18 years, Art therapist, researcher of Tattoo Anthropology, Sacred Geometry & the founder of "Tattoo as Therapy" – Training for professional tattoo artists. The groundbreaking training helps Tattoo Artists to specialize in A Trauma - informed approach to tattooing - based on Therapeutic tools, developing boundaries and Hyper creativity. For more than 25 years, I have worked at the intersection of Art, Body, and Psyche, developing a unique approach that integrates therapeutic tattooing, depth psychology, mindfulness, Jungian archetypes, and the Hero’s Journey approach. My Tattooing specialties: Dotwork, Sacred Geometry, Indigenous cultures - based tattooing from around the world. Tattoo as a Rite of Passage & initiation: In my studio, the Tattoo is much more than an aesthetic choice - it is a conscious and meaningful process. The work begins with listening: to the personal story, the emotional intention, and the stage of life a person is experiencing. I approach tattooing as a tool for: strengthening identity and personal empowerment. processing life experiences and transitional moments. reclaiming sovereignty over the Self. marking a significant times of change, healing, & new beginnings. Sacred Geometry and the Language of Symbols: I research and teach Sacred Geometry as a universal language connecting form, consciousness, and meaning. They emerge from interdisciplinary research that includes mythology, anthropology, Jungian psychology, and the study of ancient cultures. My Vision: My vision is to cultivate a culture of conscious art - that honors the body, strengthens the psyche, and reconnects people with themselves and with the world around them. I see tattooing as a cultural and social tool for healing, for empowerment, and for reconnecting with values of compassion, freedom, Human rights, and personal responsibility.
