I create patterns and shapes that are inspired by organic forms. Within my work I depict my own expansive universe using paper, charcoal and graphite pencil that morph into abstract structure. These gestures of abstraction are used to deconstruct and destabilise ones understanding of place, and help the viewer gain a different perspective by slowing down and dismantling what’s in front of them.
