Hello I’m Matilde, a professional tattoo artist base in the province of Genoa, in Italy, I’ve always been attracted by the world of tattoos and even now I love the history and the mistery of it. I’ve bought my first apprentice kit in 2015 for my 18 y birthday, that night I did my very first little tattoo but after it I only practice on fake skin since 2017 when I stare doing hand poke tattoos, because with the coil I wasn’t sure I was good enough, but after a while I started wanting more and to be tattooing with a machine and so I did my first course of 100 h in Genoa in 2018, then I moved to’ Amsterdam because i wasn’t seeing any opportunity in my place, I stayed there two years where I was lost in the new country with a new language and my fears of not being enough plus that made me not send any portfolio to any studio even if I’vecasked… then in august 2020 I came back to Italy and moved to Rome and then to Milan where I finally did my last course of 1500 hours , then I found I an apprentice place at Manulibera tattoo studio in Milan, but after a while (8 months at 30h week minimum ) I had to go back to my place (2h of train) due to personal reasons and unfortunately they told me to not go anymore even if I would… anyway it’s been an amazing experience where I’ve learned a lot both on art and management of a studio, I practically was a shop manager assistant who was tattooing on fake skin drawing a lot and asking a lot of questions to the more experienced artist there. I don’t have a personal style yet, I love everything about tattooing so for now it’s difficult for me to stick on some style, but I mostly do anime tattoos, black work and fine line. I now it’s not the best not having a personal style but I’m working on my art and my skill every day. I didn’t actually did a lot of my designs because most of people I’have tattooed wanted something specific, like anime tattoos or symbols, but some like the death eaters of Harry Potter I did all the drawing , so some are more commercial and some more costum. Anyways the styles I love most are, Japanese, neotraditional, ornamental
